Signs of Spring

Since yesterday (Monday) was a holiday for my wife, my son and I, we decided to take advantage of the unseasonably warm temperatures and take a walk around Maymont Park.

Due to the necessity of getting homework done, we got a later start than anticipated.  Still we had a good two hours walking around the ground.

We enjoyed seeing the animals and the signs of spring.

Hope you enjoy some of our pictures.

28 Days of Ronald Reagan – Day 22

“Since I came to the White House, I’ve gotten two hearing aids, had a colon operation, a prostate operation, skin cancer, and I’ve been shot…damn thing is, I’ve never felt better.”

Ronald Wilson Reagan
February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004
40th President of the United States

February 6, 2011 marks the Centennial of Ronald Reagan’s birth.  Reagan was unquestionably the greatest President of my lifetime, and in my opinion, the greatest President of the 20th Century.  For the month of February, 2011, we present “28 Days of Ronald Reagan” featuring a daily tribute.  We’ll include his wit, and his wisdom and some of our favorite stories.
