It’s Still a Grand Old Flag

On this day in 1777 the Second Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson declared June 14 as Flag Day. National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress in 1949. Long may she wave.
