Michael Fletcher: Actor, Artist, Author. By day a mild-mannered state employee. By night an internet vigilante and man of the stage. Or something like that.
I’m a freelance writer, blogger, editor, actor and artist living in Richmond, Virginia. By day I work for the Commonwealth of Virginia, but the writing, acting and art are the passions.
I have been active in the Music and Fine Arts Ministry at West End Assembly of God. I also serve on the Board of Directors for CAT Theatre. In July, 2010, I was appointed by Governor Bob McDonnell to serve a four-year term on the Virginia Board of Counseling.
I am a former member and President of the Asbury University Alumni Association Board. I have also served as a board member and president of the Runnymede Neighborhood Association, the Shady Acres Recreation Association and the Neighborhood Learning Center (Washington, DC).
I live in North Chesterfield, Virginia. Thanks to the U.S. Post Office, I used to live in Richmond, Virginia. We didn’t move.
I share my life with my wife of 31 years and our two sons. One, a future academy-award-winning-buy-your-parents-a-beach-house director, and the other, a teenager who plans to design video games, or at least play them for the rest of his life. Completing the household are Nic the Dog, who is far too old to act like such a puppy, and Mo the Cat, to whom we all report.
