In spite of my whinage earlier this week about struggling to come up with daily topics, I actually had somewhere I was going with this post.
Then yesterday happened. At least, I think yesterday happened. I find myself with a burning question.
What the hell was that?
As I’m writing this on Wednesday evening, the U.S. Capitol is secured. The woman who was shot inside has died. Congress will reconvene to certify the election.
I weep for my country. I weep for this woman, regardless of what side she was on. I grieve for her family.
This is not the way.
And, in spite of the fact that I wrote about another thousand words last night, I’m going to leave it right there. Consider doing the same.
