I read the first book before I saw the show. In fact, I read the first three books, Wicked, Son of a Witch and A Lion Among Men.
Call me crazy or sentimental, but I read all of the Oz books when I was a child and knew all of the things after that horrible Dorothy girl (well, from a certain point of view), had gone home.
So, I’ve loved this series by Maguire and I’m looking forward to the fourth and final book, Out of Oz: The Final Volume in the Wicked Years which comes out on November 1st, just days away.
But, alas for me, that’s also the first day of Nanowrimo. So, I’ll have to put the reading of the book off just a bit longer. If a certain someone is reading, it would make a great Christmas present. I’m just saying.
