Rawhide Down: My Review at Good Reads

Rawhide Down: The Near Assassination of Ronald ReaganRawhide Down: The Near Assassination of Ronald Reagan by Del Quentin Wilber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Del Quentin Wilber takes us on a step by step journey through that fateful day when American almost lost Ronald Reagan. While the public hear Reagan’s jokes and quips, and they were accurate, we never quite knew how closely we came to losing him that day. Wilber tells of the drama, the steps and missteps of those crucial hours. While the drama was occuring the ER, the missteps were occuring in the White House with a power struggle and a lack of clarity. Wilber weaves the story and keeps you turning the pages. I couldn’t put it down.
