On this day in 1776, the Second Continental Congress adopted The Declaration of Independence at the Pennsylvania State House (now Independence Hall) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Take some time to read it today. Our nation celebrates that day annually with parades, picnics, concerts and fireworks. Personal pet peeve…it’s “Independence Day.” Everybody has a 4th of July. …
