It’s Friday. Are you wearing Green?

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,
Christ in the eye that sees me,
Christ in the ear that hears me.

From The Prayer of St. Patrick

“Above all, this country is our own. Nobody has to get up in the morning and worry what his neighbors think of him. Being a Jew is no problem here.”

On this day in history, Golda Meir (1898-1978), became the fourth Prime Minister of Israel.

I visited Israel on two separate occasions some forty years ago. I would love to visit again.

I’m getting to do some traveling this year. You know I’ll tell you about it when it’s time.

In the meantime, I have a list of projects. You have a list of projects.

I won’t get through my entire list over the weekend, but I’ll make progress,

And, on Monday, we’ll welcome Spring.

In the meantime, Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I’m not Irish. At least, so far, I’ve not traced any of the lines back to Ireland. But I’ll find something green to wear. Although most of my holiday attire leans toward the red.

I won’t be celebrating tonight. Not even a green beer.

Go and celebrate as you see fit. Do so responsibly.

But, before you do…
