The people who are veterans, that is.
With the Obama economy and tax increases, it’s sometimes difficult to shop everywhere I need to shop…Chick-fil-a, Hobby Lobby, Domino’s, Tyndale House and now Walmart.
Discount superstore Walmart has announced that it will increase domestic products and will hire veterans seeking work when they return from deployment.
In a statement, Walmart said, “Beginning Memorial Day, Walmart will offer a job to any honorably discharged veteran in his or her first 12 months off active duty. Most of these jobs will be in Walmart stores and clubs, and some will be in distribution centers and the Home Office.”
That’s a commitment I can get behind.
Good job, Walmart.
