Yes I know that last week I wrote that it already felt like summer.

Summer official arrives at 4:51 p.m. today, even though you’ve been running your air conditioner for weeks.

If you’re looking for a good summer movie, Jaws was released on this day in 1975. It was the highest-grossing film at that time and unofficially the first “summer blockbuster.”

True story. I’ve never watched Jaws all the way through.

Like you, even though it’s summer, I have a lot going on. I’m in rehearsals for my next play…to be announced soon. I’m juggling the writing projects. I’m sorting out the retirement paperwork. And I’m heading to Southwest Virginia this weekend for mini family reunion.

Even though I focused on the sharks this morning, I have a lot to write about.
