Pesach Sameach

“I love Passover because for me it is a cry against indifference, a cry for compassion.”

Elie Wiesel, Romanian-born American writer, professor, political activist, Nobel laureate, and Holocaust survivor.

For those of the Jewish faith and heritage, Passover begins tonight at sundown.

Passover commemorates the deliverance of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. It carries historical and religious significance and comes with a rich tapestry of symbols and customs.

The coming of Passover is, once again, particularly significant in consideration of recent events in the nation of Israel.

If you don’t know the story of Passover, you should look it up. It will do you good.
