Hail the Weekend

And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose; He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

American author, poet, and educator, Clement Clarke Moore, was born on this day in 1779. (d. 1863)

It’s Friday. I have work to do before I get to the weekend. So do you.

In a strange twist of things…well, not really strange, more practical…I actually have a weekend. More details on that some other time. Maybe.

But this morning I was challenged with the fact that my Adobe Photoshop Elements crashed and had to be uninstalled and reinstalled. That delayed the morning’s usual brilliance.

So instead, let’s celebrate a birthday today. Noted above, Clement Clarke Moore was born on this day. You know at least one of his poems.

Here’s my version that I did a couple of years ago.

Enjoy (hopefully) and have a good weekend.
