The Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

His followers do not yet understand. And when the unthinkable happens, they will understand even less.

Although I can but imagine what those three days of despair were like, I know that we are living through dark times of our own. The difference is that we know of both the sacrifice and the triumph.
That includes the triumph to come, because we’ve read the back of the book.
Take some time this weekend for reflection.
He loves you. He cares for you. He is there for you.
