I digress.
If it’s not on your tree, perhaps it’s over your nativity.
What was the actual star? Was it a convergeance of planets that lit the sky?
I don’t really know other than to believe that it rested over the manger where Jesus was born.
The star still guides us to the manger.
It’s Christmas Eve.
We’ve reached the end of our Advent series.
Not even the Grinch can stop Christmas from coming, and we don’t want to.
For those of us who don the red suit, it’s a busy night.
I look forward to resting by the light of the tree tomorrow amidst the chaos of discarded wrapping paper and ribbons.
Wishing the Merriest of Christmases to you and yours.
Tomorrow we start a new series on the Twelve Days of Christmas. Because if you’re doing it properly, they do not begin until tomorrow.
Join us.
Better yet, join us on Sunday and scroll back for tomorrow’s post.
Spend tomorrow with your loved ones. Sure, show us all the pictures, but save the scrolling for the next day.
And remember, no matter how you celebrate, there is really only one reason for the Season.
