This child would grow up to redeem mankind through his death.
This child was born for a single purpose, to die for our sin.
Perhaps this prophecy is why many did not understand the nature of His ministry. When was he goign to overthrow Rome? When was he going to claim his throne?
But the Prince of Peace took a different path. One that led to Calvary.
