We are on day 229 of 15 days to slow the spread.
This will be the last day for that count because when the election is over, the virus will end.
Please don’t tell me I need to point out the sarcasm.
But also please don’t tell me that this whole thing hasn’t been politicized and overblown.
I’d like to think that tomorrow I could come back here and write about the election and say, “well, that was
I am not naïve enough to think that by the time the East Coast goes to bed tonight that we’ll have a clear winner.
And even if we do, the campaign for 2024 starts tomorrow
People complain about rushing the Christmas season. That’s nothing compared to the people who put up their election decorations four years early.

Don’t nag me. I’ll get there, even if I’m not doing NaNoWriMo.
I will not get there over the next two months. I may have mentioned that my Santa season starts on Saturday.

The next two months will be a whirlwind of red suit appearances, holiday shopping, and milk and cookies.
Even the Grinch can’t stop Christmas from coming.
I’m thankful for that.
This month, I’m trying to concentrated more on being thankful for what I have. I have a lot.
Looking around my home office, I will tell you that I have too much.
But, I’m thankful for that as well. The memories stuffed on my walls and shelves are like a warm hug.
Good times with good people that I can’t see right now.
Unless you sign up to see me as Santa online. But that’s a commercial and another post.
It’s been a hard year for all of us. Still, we have much for which we can be thankful.
I need that reminder as well.
