On this day in 1776, Virginian Richard Henry Lee presented the “Lee Resolution” to the Continental Congress.
The motion was seconded by John Adams and led to the United States Declaration of Independence.
History is a good thing.
And besides, you can’t expect me to provide fresh, new brilliance every day.
