A little brood music

The Eiffel Tower officially opened on this day in 1889.

Don’t brood. Get on with living and loving. You don’t have forever.

American author and academic, Leo Buscaglia, was born on this day in 1924 (died 1998).

You may or may not have picked up on the fact that I’ve been brooding a bit over the past couple of weeks.

Not to worry it was, as they say, just a phase.

Some things just aren’t worth worrying about. Even if they are a pain in the backside.

While I’ve got my own share of areas in my life that are just that, I have even more that validate who I really am, that applaud me for the work that I do, that prove my value even when others can’t see it.

If I can’t be vain on my own blog, well then…

But let’s not talk about me, let’s…oh who am I kidding? I spend most of my time on this blog talking about me.

Hopefully you don’t just stop by to sneer and point fingers. Hopefully you’ll occassionally find something worthwhile that might be helpful in your own life.

Just maybe in my sharing what I’m going through, what I’m dreaming about, and even what I’m really pisssed off about, just maybe you can get through your day or your week in a little better frame of mind.

It’s the weekend. I’ll be working at an amusement park. And I’ll be participating in A Weekend of New Works at Firehouse Theatre.

If nothing else, there’s no time to brood.

Speaking of brood. Shirley Jones, a.k.a. Shirley Partridge, television’s mom of an amazing musical brood, was born on this day in 1934.
