It’s Friday, and I made it through a week of posting every day (every week day, be kind).
I don’t remember the last time I did that. And no, I’m not going back to check.
It’s spring, although we’re not completely out of the chillier temperatures yet. I have plants that need to be on the front porch, but a few more weeks for that. I may get ambitious enough to do some planting, at least some hanging plants for the porch. But that may be the extent of my gardening this year.
In other news, my current show closes Sunday after five performances. It’s been a good run. Not to worry, I’m in rehearsals for the next. But also not to worry, that one is just one performance. Then I’m done. Well, except for the other performance that evening. Then I’m done. For now. Details are below.
In this recalculating of things, I’m working on some writing projects, including a script and a novel, as well as this blog. The decision I have to make is whether I want to plunge aggressively back into copywriting to support my acting and other writing addictions.
I don’t think that I do, but by not doing that I accept the fact that I’ll be chained to my day job a lot longer than I anticipated.
It’s an adjustment. Maybe not the adjustment I want to be making. But, an adjustment.
Let’s take the weekend to think about it.
American singer-songwriter, and producer Larry Norman was born on this day in 1947 (died 2008). For some of us in the 1970s, his work defined Christian music.
Look for me on stage:
