365 Things I Believe: More Time

I signed onto the Interent in 1995 to check the weather.

Seriously though, while I can’t imagine functioning without it, and while I love the fact that technology has allowed me to reconnect and keep in touch with friends around the world, how much time do I spend behind this screen every day?

There’s work, and work email, and personal email, and Facebook, and Twitter, and Pinterest, and Words with Friends, and Gentlemint, and StumbleUpon, and Tumblr, and…

I’m beginning to see the need to unplug occassionally. And I will.

Just as soon as I check my email.

365 Things I Believe is a revisioning of a year long web project. I initially launched the blog 365 Things I Believe because I think there are important things I have to say. There are eternal truths that are non-debatable, although I realize they’re not universally accepted.

So for a year I did a daily post of one thing I believe to be an indisputable truth. I’m relaunching here at The Write Side of My Brain and will continue through the next year to re-post (mostly) from the original project.

This time graphics and commentary are included. You can buy today’s print here.
