Nancy “Honeytree” Henigbaum was born on this day in 1952. She is an American Christian musician and was one of the leaders of what was known as Jesus music. She was sometimes known as “The First Lady of the Jesus Movement.”
I saw her in concert in the late 70s at Asbury College (now University). Her music remains memorable and helped to define the faith of our generation.
