Natalie Maria Cole is the daughter of the legendary Nat King Cole, but is an American singer, songwriter and performer in her own right. Her musical success began in the 70s with such hits as “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” and “Our Love.” She has received numerous Grammy Awards and has sold over 30 million records worldwide.
She has badded drug addiction and has written an autobiography describing her battle: Angel on My Shoulder. In recent years she has battled heptatis C and struggled with kidney disease. She received a kidney transplant in 2009.
