365 Things I Believe: Every Tear
height=”324″ />
We’re a day away from what has been described as “the most important election in our lifetime.” And it may be. But the reality is, most elections have been called that.
One side says we’ll go back to slavery if the other wins. The other side says we’ll descend into socialism.
Both may be right because Jesus promised us things would get worse. And, while I’m no student of the end times, I see no role for the United States at Armageddon.
Still what I know and what I take comfort in is that God is sovereign. No matter what the election results are, even if I think they stink, God is in control. He knows how the story ends, and so do we.
It’s written in the back of the book. Then elections and wars and economies won’t matter any more. They’ll just be a part of history.
Every tear will be wiped away.
365 Things I Believe is a revisioning of a year long web project. I initially launched the blog 365 Things I Believe because I think there are important things I have to say. There are eternal truths that are non-debatable, although I realize they’re not universally accepted.
So for a year I did a daily post of one thing I believe to be an indisputable truth. I’m relaunching here at The Write Side of My Brain and will continue through the next year to re-post (mostly) from the original project.
This time graphics and commentary are included. You can buy today’s print here. And, by the end of a year, if not sooner, you’ll be able to purchase the entire series in ebook format.
