American Actress Olympia Dukakis won an Academy Award, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for her performance in Moonstruck.
Her other films include Steel Magnolias, Mr Holland’s Opus, Jane Austen’s Mafia! and The Thing About My Folks. She was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Anna Madrigal in the television mini-series Tales of the City. On Broadway her credits include Who’s Who in Hell, Social Security and the one-woman play Rose.
