Barack Obama vs….Sarah Palin?

Does he know she’s not running?

Jake Tapper at ABC reports:

Hours before the premiere of HBO’s “Game Change,” the Obama campaign released a web ad Saturday focused on former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who is portrayed in that premium cable film — fairly, according to her detractors, unfairly per her supporters.

But, the question is why?

Look, I’ve made no secret about the fact that I don’t want to see Sarah Palin run for President. My reasons are many and not the issue here.

But why does Barack Obama fear her? And that’s what it is because there’s no other reason to attack her…to wage, you might suggest…a war on a woman who is a private citizen.

Interesting that the same people behind “Game Change” also represent Sandra Fluke. FoxNews.com.

And, according to Rush, the same PR firm produced the Palin ad.

And who’s the connection to Obama? Former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn.

That would be the same Anita Dunn who once called Mao Tse Tung one of her two favorite philosophers.

But kudos to Sarah Palin for not standing idly by and taking this crap. She wrote on Facebook:

This latest ad is quite odd, but also quite telling. It shows that our President sure seems fearful of discussing the economy, energy prices, and all the other problems people need addressed. And intended or not, now that his ad opens up the discussion of Barack Obama’s radical past associations and the radical philosophy that shaped his ideas about his promised “fundamental transformation” of our country, I welcome the media to join ordinary Americans in finally vetting Barack Obama. The media failed to do so in 2008 to the detriment of us all. Maybe this time around they can do their job.

Ben Shapiro put it this way: Notice what Obama’s team left on the cutting room floor: the vast bulk of the interview about Bell and Maher. This is a selective editing hit-job designed to make Palin look like a racist. That’s how Obama’s team is fighting back. And that’s why we must not be afraid to vet this president. The dangerous rhetoric here isn’t Palin’s – it’s the rhetoric and philosophy that infused this president with his views on race relations. That must be exposed, despite all the bully tactics of the Obama left.

Like I said, Sarah Palin is not my candidate, now or in the future. But she’s not afraid to call out the President for his failed policies, his hypocrisy, his arrogance and now his bullying tactics.

More power to her.
