U of R Mascot Selection Makes Nutzy Look Like a Good Idea

Okay, I’ll admit I’ve gotten used to the Flying Squirrels and Nutzy the mascot. Although I still think we could’ve come up with a better name.

And now, the University of Richmond Spiders find the need for a new mascot.

Enter WebstUR.

The University of Richmond will introduce WebstUR, a headband-wearing, muscle-bound spider, as its new mascot during reunion weekend June 4.

Hey, I’m not a UR alum and I really don’t have a dog, or an arachnid, in this fight.
