When peace like a river…

I love my lunchtime walks down by the James River.  Not only is the exercise good for me, but it gives me time to clear the cobwebs from my brain.

The walks are quieter during these winter months, save for the geese or the occasional train.  Crowds will pick back up when the temperatures do.

It’s an area filled with history, most notably from the late, great unpleasantness.

And, speaking of unpleasantness, it’s time to get back to the office.
