President Calls for Moment of Silence for Tuscon Victims

Obama calls for national moment of silence for Tucson victims
The Washington Post
In a Sunday statement issued by the White House, Obama said the moment of silence, which he will mark at 11 a.m. Eastern with staff on the White House South Lawn, will “honor the innocent victims of the senseless tragedy in Tucson, Ariz., including those still fighting for their lives.”

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
~ Psalm 46:1

To anybody who is demanding stricter firearm bills because of the horror in Tucson, may I grant this minute morsel: If weapons kill humans, then pencils mis-write words, cars drive under the influence, and silverware makes people overweight ! Keep in mind: Judge the individual culpable for their behavior, not the meansthey chose to put to use.
