One of my favorite high school teachers wrote in my senior memory book “Never stop writing Mike, you have a beautiful gift.”  This blog is my attempt to see if she was indeed correct.  I’ve been on the Internet and in the blogosphere for years now, writing mostly under a couple of pen names.

But I’m embarking on this adventure to see if I really do have what it takes to be the great American author.

By day, I’m a mild mannered state employee.  I do the blogging at night and on the weekends.  I’m also the father of two boys, active in the Music and Fine Arts ministry at my church, and the past president of my college alumni association.
