Decisions

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

As spoken by Gandalf in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Fellowship of the Ring.

I’ve made some decisions this week.

One of those is that I will tell you what decisions I made when I decide to do so.

So, don’t ask.

If you’re a long time reader, and you should be, you’ll know that I’ll tell you when the time is right.

Seriously though, it’s that time of year for plans, and decisions. In just a month or so it will be time for revising plans and making new decisions.

I like the fresh start of the year.

Granted, I’m having a slow start with a few things. Not to make excuses, but I didn’t have my traditional sit on the couch for a week in my pajamas that I usually have between Christmas and New Years. I went straight from working at the park to one day off and then back to the office.

We’ve managed to fill up our weekends as well. I’m working on that whole three words thing. But so far, the events on the calendar have been important.

I’ll get some free time.

As much as I’ve had enough snow for the season, I’m sort of hoping that we’ll get a snow day or two over the weekend.

I’ve decided what I need to be doing.

I just need that free time so I can be about doing it.

Made any decisions lately?
