How could we not love “Aunt Jessica Fletcher”?

The career of actress and singer Angela Lansbury has spanned eight decades in the theater, on television and in motion pictures.

She is a five time Tony Award winner. Her first film was Gaslight for which she received an Academy Award nomination in 1944. Her first Tony award came in 1966 for her portrayal of the title character in the musical Mame.

Lansbury is well known to many for her portrayal of mystery author turned detective Jessica Fletcher in the CBS series Murder, She Wrote which became one of the longest-running detective drama series in television history.
