June Allyson, October 7, 1917 – July 8, 2006

Born on this Day in 1917.

June Allyson was a film and television actress. She won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her 1951 performance in Too Young to Kiss. From 1959-1961 she hosted The DuPont Show with June Allyson on CBS. In her senior years, she was a spokesperson for Depends undergarments.

June Allyson died on July 8, 2006. She was 88.
