Scenes from the 43rd Street Festival of the Arts

It was a beautiful day for the 21st annual 43rd Street Festival of the Arts.

This year’s festival was held in support of Freedom House.

Freedom House serves the homeless in Richmond and surrounding areas as it has since 1983. The only regular feeding program, the Conrad Center, provides breakfast and dinner five days a week as well as supper on Saturdays and Sundays. Transitional and long-term housing is available through Community Shelter and Sean’s Place.

My wife and I had a chance to stroll through the festival today.

It was great to see so many artists with their work on display.

All in support of a good cause.

Bluz Catz was a among the musical acts performing.

43rd Street Gallery, where you can view the work of some of the artists year round.
